No, I cal tell you that mac is not bad. It's even sweet. I use windows at home, but mac at school. And I like it.
It's another experience, that's true. But bad? Nope.
Btw: @Dark_calling: video editing software finalcutpro is great and very easy to use, so it doesn't take weeks to make such a simple movie. |

Wiels I know that Macs video editing program is okay but that dosn't really matter when your computer is so locked up it makes you want to throw it across the wall. They need constant repairs which is probably why they're so popular in places like schools. I'm not saying the PC is much better but at least they'll last a few months before they get extremely screwed up. |

We're working on imacs and powermacs for the 'heavier' jobs like 3d-modeling.
In the year I've used macs, I once got a system that crashed. In that year of using windows, my windows-system crashed many times. (don't remember how much)
So, with my experience, I can tell you that mac is more reliable than windows.

Most schools especially colleges have their own techs to monitor them. But I guess you could make a decent Mac with some upgrades. |
